Hitting up a midweek soiree, Christina Hendricks was spotted at the Vivienne Westwood ?Get a Life? opening last night (March 30).
The ?Mad Men? stunner was joined by her husband Geoffrey Arend as she showed off some pieces of the Palladium Jewelry Collection for the paparazzi.
Earlier this month, Christina was unveiled as the face of Dame Vivienne?s Palladium collection, and she schmoozed with the iconic designer throughout the night.
Meanwhile, Ms. Hendricks? AMC gig is still on hold pending negotiations, and is expected to return in 2012.

Paying final respects to their late loved one, thousands of mourners turned up for the funeral of Nate Dogg (Nathaniel Dwayne Hale) in Long Beach, CA on Saturday (March 26).
With the proceedings taking place at Queen Mary Dome, attendees saying their goodbyes to the rap star included fellow hip-hop hitmakers such as Snoop Dogg, Warren G and The Game.
With a public viewing having been held at New Hope Baptist Church the previous evening, the burial comes after Nate Dogg passed away on March 15th at the young age of 41-years-old due to complications from multiple strokes.
At the New Hope event, Nate’s sister, Pamela Hale-Burns, told MTV that the place of worship was where her brother got his musical start.
Hale-Burns said, “Singing is something that we grew up doing, and I’m just glad to know that my brother was able to do what he loved. I said earlier that he chose a career where he never worked a day in his life, because he loved doing what he did.”

2009 FIM Women’s World Championship runner-up Larissa Papenmeier can perhaps rightfully claim to be Suzuki’s fastest female motorcycle racer. The petite German runs the number 2 plate on her Teka Suzuki Europe World MX2 RM-Z250 and has taken two podium results from four rounds of the seven in the 2010 contest.

“I had a slow speed crash about one month before the World Championship started at Sevlievo in Bulgaria – the same place that the MX1 and MX2 series’ was beginning. It was a silly fall but I broke a bone in my hand and it was a bit of a setback. I carried on riding, and doing the training that I could before going to Bulgaria. In a way the injury helped with my nerves for the race! Obviously I wanted to be 100%, but I went to the GP with little expectations and wanting just to get points. I scored 6th place which was reasonable in the circumstances.
“We had about a month then before our second round and where we would be joining the boys again at Agueda for the Grand Prix of Portugal. I was getting stronger and carried on my training and found time to finish second behind world champion Steffi Laier in the German Championship. Steffi is currently the fastest rider at the GPs but I know that I – and a good few others – are working as hard as we can to catch up and beat her. Germany is well represented in the world championship in which we are competing for the third time now as it began in 2008, for the two years before that it was a World Cup competition. It means that we have a strong national series and that is only good for the future of women’s racing in our country as more people can see what we are doing and maybe more girls will decide to come and have a go.

Dan Henderson’s been here before looking across at a much bigger opponent, but it can’t be getting easier at the age of 40. The legendary grappler has built a career on try to take down the huge dudes at light heavyweight and he’s got another big test in front of him tomorrow night in Columbus, Oh. when he battles Strikeforce light heavyweight champ Rafael Feijao.
Feijao will probably step into the cage around 225 pounds. There was a time when he fought at heavyweight in the low 230-pound range. Henderson maxes out around 208 pounds.
“One of the benefits of fighting at 205 is I get to enjoy my food. One of the drawbacks is I have to fight guys [Feijao’s] size," Henderson said. "Obviously, I wouldn’t be here if winning a world title wasn’t one of my goals. But the challenge of fighting someone like Feijao is exciting. He’s big, he’s tough and he’s strong. I would definitely enjoy having the belt but the reason I fight is for the challenge."
The Feijao-Henderson fight is one of two scheduled five-rounders. Marloes Coenen will defend her Strikeforce title for the first time against Liz Carmouche.

Naomi Watts and her boys shared a mommy-and-me and music-filled afternoon at the park in NYC yesterday. The mother of two showed her youngest, Samuel, that she was listening to Lady Gaga on her iPhone as he had a quick snack between rides on the slide. The trio are back on the East Coast after spending some time together in LA around award season. Dad Liev Schreiber wasn’t along for their latest outing, but the whole family had a lot of fun during their stint in California, hitting up a local amusement park and heading out on bike rides together. Their latest busy day out had at least one member of the Watts-Schreibers ready for a nap, as Sasha took a snooze in his stroller on the way home.
Todd Duffee might be the last guy you’d expect to look at the UFC’s purchase of Strikeforce through rose-colored glasses. That’s exactly what he did when he posted a long message on the Underground Forum.
Duffee, a hot shot prospect in the UFC’s heavyweight division, was released last year. The reason has never officially been released, but it was pretty obvious a series of run-ins with UFC management didn’t help his cause. Duffee’s only 25 and it sounds like he’s gained a little more perspective on the sport since his ouster. Here are some of the things that he listed as the positives of Zuffa swallowing up Strikeforce.
1. My first thought was all the great possible match-ups we will get to see. I understand they will be operating separately for some time but I hope when they say cross promotion they are saying mega fights will happen not just strike force will have a booth at the fan expos.
2. Next women’s MMA will get a huge mainstream push I wasn’t always a fan but the better they get the more I like it just the same.
3. Some of the greatest fighters in the world won’t have to hear the dreaded question of when will you get good enough to be in the UFC and instead get the respect they have already earned.
4. MY FAVORITE positive is that the UG will stop picking teams and stop the endlessly dumb trolling of the UFC is better than strike force and vice versa. And maybe this place will stop being such a wasteland of bitching and crying.
5. More unified rules and possibly better judging due to the fact that Zuffa will have more power to help make those changes.
6. Another step in gaining the same respect the NBA, NHL, NFL, MLB, etc.
7. Strikeforce will now have the money to put on more shows meaning guys won’t have to sit on the shelf for long periods of time.
More shows means possibly more free shows.8. More pull within the Japanese market due to Strikeforce’s good relations which might save Japanese MMA.
9. The naysayers can now be ignored and we can rest assured that the [heavyweight] tourney will go on.
10. Also the greater possibility of more tournaments in the future as a feeder into the big shows.
11. Possibly better announcing which seems to be a huge complaint. Maybe they buy that fellow off Bellator, Jimmy [Smith] believe is his name. actually both they make a good team.
Do you buy all of that? I think he may be off on the female fighting point. Unless Dana White has a complete change of heart in the next 18-24 mos., females are probably headed back to the minors.
Duffee also clarified that his post wasn’t an ass-kissing effort to get him back in the good graces of White and co.
I am not praising the buyout. I like everyone else when they heard of the news sat around and talked about all the negatives. But realizing it did me absolutely no good. I decided to start this thread to see what the positives of the buyout could be jotting down some of my immediate positive thoughts. As in usual fashion, I was met with a bunch of negative uselessly angry posters. This is not to get in good graces with Zuffa. I am a year and many wins away from them remembering my name or face.

The Chief has finally come to terms with the idea that Adele probably has Alzheimer’s, and so his way of dealing with it is to pressure Derek to accept her into the study. When a patient unexpectedly drops out, a spot opens up, but when Mere runs the test to see if Adele is eligible, Adele doesn’t score low enough to qualify.
When Richard finds out that she only failed (passed?) by a single point, he hits the roof, but Mere makes Derek hold firm since the whole study could be ruined if they make one exception to the standard protocol. Adele is thrilled to be rejected since she wants to believe she doesn’t have Alzheimer’s but when Meredith tells her about the things she got wrong on her test and Adele finally has to admit she’s sick; the reason she was in denial is that she and Richard finally found happiness and now this is threatening to tear them apart once again.

Supercross will undergo a ‘Pink’ transformation this weekend in Anaheim to show their support and help promote Breast Cancer Awareness, including contributions to the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Orange County.

Pop some Advil and get ready for The Hangover Part II! The poster for the much-anticipated sequel has been revealed — and, from the looks of it, the guys find themselves in a plethora of trouble once again.
Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms), Alan (Zach Galifianakis) and Doug (Justin Bartha) all return for a second round of partying. This time, the buddies travel to Thailand for Stu’s wedding.
According to the studio, Stu decides on a "safe, subdued pre-wedding brunch," instead of a wild bachelor party before he ties the knot. "However, things don’t always go as planned. What happens in Vegas may stay in Vegas, but what happens in Bangkok can’t even be imagined."
The Hangover Part II hits theaters on May 26. Better get some rest before heading out on this adventure!
