All Strikeforce ?Challengers 17? drug screens have come back negative, the Nevada State Athletic Commission announced Friday.

Twelve fighters in total were tested following their performances on July 22 at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, including headliners Bobby Voelker and Roger Bowling. Additionally, Shawn Jordan, Devin Cole, Ovince St. Preux, Joe Cason, Anthony Smith, Bill Cooper, Sterling Ford, Sarah Kaufman, Adlan Amagov and T.J. Cook were also tested and cleared.

All competitors tested were screened for both performance enhancing drugs and drugs of abuse such as marijuana and cocaine. Challengers 17 aired live on cable network Showtime.

Voelker knocked out Bowling in the second round of their welterweight headliner, earning him the deciding victory in their fight trilogy. Also notable was another dominant performance from light heavyweight St. Preux, as the former University of Tennessee linebacker quickly pounded out Cason in just 72 seconds. There are two story lines as the 2011 AMA Pro Motocross Series heads to Washougal, Washington for round 8 of the 12 round series.

First – the top three riders in the Supercross series this year are the same riders battling for the premiere 450 Motocross class championship. Only seven points separate series points leader Chad Reed (a two time Supercross Champion, 2004, 2008), the current AMA Supercross Champion Ryan Villopoto, and 2010 AMA Supercross and Motocross Champion Ryan Dungey. Reed is on top with 300 points (even after his high-flying crash of last week – Chad Reed – The Crash video here), Villopoto is next with 294, and Dungey one point back at 293. Ben Affleck was on dad duty in LA yesterday. He took a matching Violet and Seraphina to the farmers market, where they picked up produce and bought a bouquet of flowers. Perhaps the bright blooms were a surprise for mom Jennifer Garner, who’s currently pregnant with the couple’s third child. Jennifer Garner’s baby bump has been on display during her many outings lately, including a Starbucks stop with Seraphina last week. Jennifer is all about her girls when Ben is busy working on his current project, Argo. It’s his latest directorial effort, and it looks like there’s more behind-the-camera work in store for the actor. Ben is apparently Warner Bros. pick to direct the big screen adaptation of Stephen King’s The Stand.
